Deluxeware DXTS-00 12.5oz Heavyweight Loopwheeled T-Shirt – Crimson Red
Deluxeware’s DXTS-00 is the benchmark of the brand’s heavyweight T-shirt lineup — a densely knitted loopwheeled tee developed for maximum durability, structure, and long-term wear. Produced entirely in Japan, the shirt combines old-world knitting technology from Wakayama with meticulous sewing construction from Deluxeware’s own “Olduct” (Old & Product) factory in Odate, Akita. The result is a plain T-shirt with remarkable substance and character, built to age rather than wear out.
The fabric is a substantial 12.5oz hanging jersey, knitted on rare 1920s loopwheel machines operating at extremely low speed. These vintage machines produce only around ten meters of fabric per day, creating a dense, resilient texture modern high-speed knitting cannot replicate. The tubular construction eliminates side seams for improved comfort and shape retention, while the heavy cotton develops a dry, slightly bouncy hand that feels structured from the very first wear. Every seam is sewn using vintage Union Special machinery with a reinforced triple-needle configuration and thick No.30 thread for exceptional durability.
The DXTS-00 is intentionally simple, allowing the fabric and construction to speak for themselves. The triple-stitched collar, woven Deluxeware labels, and one-wash finish underline the brand’s uncompromising approach to quality.
